Tipico posto di montagna. Il primo posto in USA che ho visitato ove mi hanno chiesto ,finalmente, se volevo l'acqua con o senza ghiaccio, invece di portarmi direttamente il solito bicchiere pieno di ghiaccio. Gli americani hanno ereditato dagli Antichi Romani questa passione di bere bevande col ghiaccio, che al quel tempo era un privilegio per pochi (aristocratici).

Ottimo posto per cenare. Squisita la soup a base di verdure e lenticchie. Peccato che negli States venga considerata un contorno e quindi servita in ciotoline mignon. Ne avremmo mangiata volentieri una scodella!

Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, vi conviene dividere le portate.

A decent cafe to grab a quick breakfast in Mammoth Lakes. We ordered Southwest Scramble & Eggs Florentine, among these two I would definitely rate the Eggs Florentine a hight number than the scramble.

The Eggs Florentine with two poaches eggs on the english muffin was amazing. The sauce on it was rich and yummy in taste. The crispy crunchy muffin at the bottom
of poached eggs and the delicious flavors of the sauces along with the perfectly cooked poaches eggs was a perfect combination. I would try this dish if at good life cafe.

The Southwest Scramble was okay , and had a lot better than this other cafes. The drawback was that the scramble was a little bit on the drier side , topping of the scramble with some sauce would definitely make it more good. The hash-brown on the side of the scramble was not great either.

The atmosphere up this place was a little bit disturbed when we visited as there was a customer who was having an argument with the manager and it really gave a very negative vibe to this place, which made
me a little bit hesitant if or not to visit this place. However , I tried to be positive and visited this place looking at over 1000 reviews with a rating of 4.3 , which other cafes or breakfast places lacked in Mammoth.

What a gem! The locals know to eat here. The food is fresh, hot, and is served quickly. The pancakes are fluffy. Great hash browns. The omelets are packed with veggies or whatever you request. Portions are large.

The food at this restaurant was undeniably great, but unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming due to the lackluster customer service.

Upon arrival, there was no real greeting or warmth from the staff, which set a disappointing tone. Throughout the visit, the service remained unimpressive, leaving us feeling more like an inconvenience than valued guests.

Additionally, the table arrangement could use some improvement, as it didn’t make the dining experience as comfortable or inviting as it could have been.

While the food was the highlight of the visit and undeniably delicious, the subpar service and ambiance detracted from what could have been a fantastic experience.

Loved this breakfast so much that we visited on back to back days during our stay in old Mammoth. Service was quick. All breakfast dishes came in good portions. Fruit was served fresh.

Great value, huge portion.
The poached egg from the Benedict was over-cooked with solid egg yolk. Otherwise everything else is perfect.
