Coaching with Kathy Clayton has had such an invaluable and beautiful impact on my life. I reached out in last spring, when I had hit a mental low, and knew things needed to change. I look back at the person I was then, and I don’t even recognize her. Being vulnerable enough to change is extremely uncomfortable for me, but Kathy met me where I was at with such compassion. She has an unbelievable ability to educate, question, and motivate with both comfort and firmness. Kathy is extremely intelligent, and brings the energy and insight that is needed for all kinds of situations. (I love her creativity and sense of humor too.) Because of our work together, I can now face life's challenges more more self awareness and courage than I ever thought possible. Thank you, Kathy.

Kathy Clayton is a truly joyful, warm, and friendly human being. She is fun to work with, very straight forward, with a clear communication style.
When I signed on for coaching, I gave Kathy a laundry list of goals and changes I wanted to make to my life. In our coaching sessions, Kathy gave me tools and information to address these goals and changes, and so much more. She helped me find an overarching purpose that ties them all together.
In the time we worked together, I gained greater self-awareness, insight into my motivations, and an understanding of where I am in the process. Since working with her two years ago, I find myself coming back to her wisdom again and again. It has been an experience that has stuck with me and guides me to this day.
Kathy has also gone above and beyond to include me in networking events to grow my business and is just a great person to know. I highly recommend her coaching services to anyone who feels stuck, or unsatisfied with their progress.

My experience working with Kathy Clayton was transformative. As someone who deeply values personal growth, Kathy’s coaching program felt like a Master Class, offering insights I hadn’t seen or wasn’t yet ready to shine a light on, until we started working together. Kathy is thoughtful, encouraging, and knows exactly what questions to ask to guide you toward heightened self-awareness and growth. Her program gave me the freedom to use my voice more, the self-awareness to set more boundaries, and even helped me alter the way I do business with a shift in my own coaching offerings. If you’re considering taking your personal growth to the next level, I cannot recommend Kathy and her work enough!

I moved to Seattle with plans to work on myself and find the right new career direction, among other reasons. I originally attempted to do this on my own (reading self-help & career books/articles, listening to well-intention-ed friends) to no avail. I only succeeded in increasing my anxiety and inducing a brand-new level of panic attacks while pursuing any job lead thrown at me; in addition to feelings of deep depression and lack of identity. I was surprised by all of this; I am usually the one helping everyone else, and then couldn't help myself?!
I do not do well with overly spiritual or “hokey” approaches. I believe myself to be a realist. Finding Kathy Clayton Coaching felt like a gift. I didn’t feel put off by her approach; the information has felt accurate and eye opening to say the very least. Through my time with Kathy, I now have a better understanding of myself, the direction I was searching for, and the tools to go forth and navigate my life with improved clarity and choice...as long as I take the time to practice.
I have the utmost respect for how Kathy runs her program. She shared these tools and helped me understand them, and myself in a clear, compassionate, organized, straight forward, reality based approach. This approach and her coaching allows me to go forward on my own, better equipped to understand how I show up in the world and improve my quality of life. Even still, it is comforting to know she is still here for me to check in with when I need a boost of guidance. If for no other reason than I will miss see her regularly, I will definitely check back! So grateful.

I started working with Kathy after a recommendation from a good friend and because while, my life had many of the accomplishments people strive for and I was proud of and grateful for my situation, there was an inner desire for more. I wanted to equip myself with a foundation of self-understand and knowledge that would supply me with the tools to make the necessary changes I was anxious for.

My knowledge of the process was its foundation lay in factual understand of one’s self and, with that, provides the tools to see through the clutter to find what’s meaningful.

This was all true in my experience in working with Kathy and I feel confident that I’m moving forward in a direction that comes for an inner knowing of what’s right for me.

Please do not waste your money on coaching from Kathy Clayton. A relative and I both visited Kathy during career transitions several years ago. Her "method," as I experienced it, includes giving a multiple choice "aptitude test" with no real insights and suggesting a subscription to Inc. Magazine. Not only did I find her service completely useless, but based on my relative's experience I think she is dangerous too. My relative who saw her is one of the smartest, most compassionate people I have ever known, and at the time they visited Kathy was going through some serious life transitions. The profound career/life coaching "advice" Kathy literally gave them was to become someone who stands on street corners holding signs. That was it. This was devastating and extremely damaging to someone who was already in the midst of a very trying time. Not to mention, if you attempt to research her "personal potential appraisal system" aptitude test there is no information on it, much less information on its proven validity. Clicking the link on her website leads only to an error message saying "the page requested could not be found." If you really need help changing your life, I recommend seeing an actual licensed therapist who can really get to know you and provide real long-term support, not someone who administers some preposterous, corporate-management, sudo-science, multiple choice test. Seeing Kathy was a disheartening and fruitless experience and I urge you to spend your time and money elsewhere.
