Sarah presented 2 school assemblies focused on National Hispanic Heritage Month at the Stanley G. Falk School. Sarah's presentations were high energy, informative, and her passion for dance, culture, and learning is unmatched in my experience. Sarah curates authentic performances and presentations that provide fully immersive experiences and opportunities to get up and get moving. She challenged students to get out of their comfort zones and they did! I would highly recommend Sarah, she is passionate, a talented dancer, loving, patient, and a strong communicator. My boyfriend and I took private salsa lessons from Sarah in the fall of 2014. It was a gift from my boyfriend to me, and I was pretty apprehensive going into the first lesson. It didn't take long before I realized that all of my anxiety was for nothing; Sarah is amazing! Every lesson with her was a fantastic learning experience and so much fun.

While we were taking the lessons, we were also in the middle of a cross-country move, we had to put a beloved pet to sleep, and in general my boyfriend and I were losing our minds. These lessons were better than relationship counseling and really allowed us to reconnect and relax with each other.

I'm not dramatic enough to say that without Sarah our relationship would have been in trouble, but I am positive that Sarah and her salsa lessons helped us during a difficult time. Plus we were totally able to impress the heck out of all of our friends at a recent wedding with our mad dance skills!

I recommend Salsa Sarah to everyone! Her lessons are fun and empowering, and Sarah herself is compassionate and supportive. Go experience her excellent teaching and vivacious personality for yourself!

Sarah is a wonderful person inside and she is also a wonderful instructor.

I started salsa group lessons with Sarah knowing very little. She keeps you motivated and is always positive.

My fiance and I have known her for almost a year and not only does she offer classes but also Special salsa events, come alone and dance with others or bring a partner.

A lot of people don't know this but there's no need to always have one single dance partner especially in salsa we all are friends and dance together.

I highly recommend Sarah’s dance lessons!. You will learn the basic steps as well as her sweet way of approaching partner dancing. Learning how to trust is an important part of every lesson- whether you are a leader or a follower. She is so patient (even if you feel somewhat reluctant 😏) you will feel at ease and any nervousness will be put to rest. Her partner, Jerome, is equally talented and patient. The two of them create a great atmosphere and made me feel a lot less anxious about dancing. Just a beautiful asset in our community.

Me and my girlfriend experienced Salsa for the Soul with Sarah, as an early birthday present to my girlfriend, and had a wonderful time! Sarah taught us many expert Salsa dance moves for couples that we could expose on the dance floor with but as well many expert tips on connecting better as a couple in everyday life through the power of dance. Sarah is a patience, understanding and attentive dance teacher with a fun personal way of teaching that makes the experience extra jovial:) This is a great one hour birthday gift to give to your significant other, that will last a lifetime!

P.S. be sure to have your own playlist of songs ready to dance to as Sarah allows you to dance to your own favourite tunes!!!

As a gift to my girlfriend, we signed up for private couples salsa dancing lessons with Sarah in Fall 2014, and we had a wonderful, if not life-changing experience!

At the time, my girlfriend and I were going through a lot of turbulence in our lives - we had just put down our cat and we were planning a cross country move at the same time. Everyday was stressful and we were emotionally tense and exhausted, but the one thing we looked forward to every week was going to Sarah's classes because they helped us stay calm and focused on each other's happiness.

Sarah's classes taught us how to step outside the hectic parts of our lives, and "be present" with each other and our experiences. And every class, we would learn more and more moves until finally we got to show off at a friend's wedding and impress all of our friends!

Sarah helped my girlfriend and I grow closer together, and left us with some valuable life lessons as well. I HIGHLY recommend you go see her, even if it's just for one class!
