Overral, Dr.D is one of the most inspiring professors at Clark Atlanta University. His course takes you on a journey amongst yourself as you learn the criteria. He’s extremely hands on throughout the course, reviving any extra help or unanswered questions is never an issue, he is always available. The course load may be heavier but the course is so intriguing the load becomes easier once your mind grows that curiousness the papers become easier to complete.
I highly recommend anyone complete this course, it’s very different from others in which is the main thing I enjoyed, along with the two inspiring books we were required to read one being his own published novel. The class to say the least was an amazing & impacting experience.

Before joining Dr. Dandridge’s class, I never put in effort to delve deeper into spirituality and religion but with his teaching it made me take a deeper look into life and think about things differently. He is a great professor and makes the material easy to understand.

Dr. Dandridge is a wonderful teacher in spiritualist.
He’s wonderful at teaching religion and spiritual things. He breaks things down so they are easier to understand. He also lets you know that there’s more than one way to think about things. That in itself makes him a wonderful teacher as he teaches you to open your eyes and be open to your perspective changing.

As an African American Religious Course, this course was incredibly valuable. I was not as confident in my spirituality before the course, but now I feel even more confident in my ability to include African spirituality into my life and connect with my ancestors. I believe that this was possible thanks to the weekly informative lectures and sermons that Professor Dandridge commenced each week.
Additionally, the comprehensive papers provided great feedback towards improving my writing and comprehension skills. I appreciate Professor Dandridge and all the insight he provided. The information will definitely stick with me forever. I also have been able to teach my family members about African Spirituality and how it connects to the Black Church today. I appreciated his ability to maintain the progression of a discussion over the course of a class, while never devaluing a comment made by a student. I would 100% recommend this course and I hope to be involved in another course in the future!! Thank you professor

Dr. Wendel Dandridge has opened my eyes on many occasions throughout the semester. The way he delivers the word of God is impeccable and this is coming from a student who has difficulty interpreting the Bible. I can definitely say I have learned things from the Bible as well as personal things about myself through his sermons. Although I wish I could’ve taken this class in person, Dr. Dandridge did an amazing job teaching this class virtually and may he continue to spread the word of God and uplift others.

Dr. Dandridge is hands down my favorite pastor and spiritual teacher / life coach. His spiritual awareness as a TRUE contemporary Christian makes him easy to talk to, understand, & a very good listener. I like they way that he teaches and encourages everyone to challenge their faith and to do the research . I haven’t met a more genuine caring person of the Christian faith or any faith for that manner. If you want the truth and are ready to receive it then he’s the perfect go to !

Professor Dandridge has been a great professor and communicator. As a high school graduate of a majority white catholic school, Professor Dandridge was able to open up a entire new experience with religion. I’ve taken mandatory religious course throughout out my high school career, and I have never touched on the topics presented by Professor Dandridge. He didn’t beat us over the head with the content by being overly aggressive, instead he was more inspirational and allowed me the will to want to explore more. Professor Dandridge class is exactly the experience I was expecting when I decided to attend Clark Atlanta University.

Dr. Dandridge was an amazing professor. He has a very interesting way of infusing Bible, religion and culture into his teachings. I would recommend him for any project that surrounds these topics. He has an extensive knowledge in the Bible and black church institutions.
